By accessing or using the troyaccounting.tax website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These Terms govern the public-facing website only. Engagement-specific terms are set forth in the separate engagement letter that governs each client relationship.
2. About Troy Accounting
Troy Accounting is a professional accounting firm. We are not a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm and do not issue audit opinions, reviews, or other attestation reports that require a CPA license. For services requiring CPA attestation, we coordinate with our network of licensed CPA partners under separate engagement.
3. No Professional Advice Without Engagement
The Site, the blog, the glossary, the tax calendar, the calculators, and any other content here is for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice for your specific situation. Use of the Site does not create a client relationship. A client relationship is formed only upon execution of a written engagement letter signed by both parties.
4. The Instant Quote Tool
The instant quote tool generates a non-binding price estimate based on the inputs you provide. The estimate is valid for fourteen (14) days from the date generated. The final, binding engagement fee is established only in a written engagement letter. If your circumstances differ materially from the quote inputs, the engagement fee may differ from the estimate.
5. Accuracy Of Information
We strive to keep the Site accurate and current. However, tax laws, IRS rules, state regulations, and other matters covered on the Site change frequently. We make no warranty that information on the Site is current, accurate, or complete. Always confirm information with a qualified professional before acting on it.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, calculators, and software, is owned by Troy Accounting or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may print or download Site content for personal, non-commercial use only. Republication, redistribution, or commercial use requires our prior written consent.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Troy Accounting, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Troy Accounting maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms periodically. The version date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
