1. What You Consent To
By engaging Troy Accounting and using the client portal, you consent to receive all required disclosures, engagement letters, tax returns, invoices, statements, and similar documents in electronic form. Electronic delivery satisfies any legal requirement that the document be in writing.
2. Method of Delivery
Documents are delivered via the client portal, secure email, or links sent to your registered email address. You agree to maintain a current email address with us at all times.
3. Hardware and Software Requirements
You will need: a current desktop or mobile web browser; an active email account; the ability to read PDF documents; sufficient device storage to retain documents; and an internet connection.
4. Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@troyaccounting.net. Withdrawal does not affect the validity of electronic documents previously delivered. Future delivery will switch to paper at $25 per delivery to cover handling.
5. Updating Your Information
Notify us promptly of any change to your email address via the portal or by emailing us. We are not responsible for non-delivery to outdated email addresses you have not updated.
6. Copies
You may request a paper copy of any electronic document we have delivered to you, free of charge for the most recent 12 months and at our then-current copy rate thereafter.
